Sian (Pol) O'Gorman

Born: UK

Died: 29 July 2007 UK

As long as we live, they too will live;
For they are now a part of us:
As we remember them!

At the rising sun and at its going down we remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter we remember them.
At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring we remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer we remember them.
At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of the autumn we remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends we remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us. As we remember them. When we are weary and in need of strength we remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart we remember them.
When we have decisions that are difficult to make we remember them.
When we have joy we crave to share we remember them.
When we have achievements that are based on theirs we remember them.
For as long as we live, they too will live,
For they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

*************************

Sian was warm, loving, opinionated, strong, to the point.....

She has so many friends that will miss her, in real and on the internet.

Lambourn and the racing world will never be the same again.

The Ex-Racers Forum/Club will be lost, they have lost a friend and a mentor.

Sian Leaves Paul a loving husband and her best friend,
she also leaves her family behind.

I have run out of things to write, plus I think I would be here forever.
Goodnight Sian.... but never forgotten

Sian will be dearly missed by many
We will never forget you
RIP XXXXX

Sian would be sorely missed
for her wicked sense of humour
and her love to any creatures,
may it be a cat or a person.

She was a great advisor.
Always puts others first before herself.

Until we meet again sleep well
xxxx

Such a shock to hear you had left us....
although we never always saw eye to eye,
you will be sadly missed...

Heaven needs a moderator
as there's a noisy crowd
since Mike Reid and Pol arrived up there,
the laughter's been too loud.

God is really worried
that the angels heads will turn
and they'll all be naked riding
and using language that they'll learn

so he's written out an advert
and he's posted it on line
saying "help required in heaven
keeping tabs on holy wine"

Behave yourself up there, old girl.
Miss you more than you would believe.

Short words but it says it all -
gone but not forgotten.

You will be sadly missed.

Lyndsey Moss (mosslyn) - The Ex-Racers Club

Only met you once,
what a lovely, happy, genuine person.
I knew you through the ex racers forum,
always there, funny - witty - helpful.
What a lovely lady.

I have not been on the ex-racer forum for a long while
but just heard about poor Sian.
I always loved reading her comical posts
and could see she had her serious side
but her comments hints and tips were usually
worth their weight in gold.
She was well respected.

Sian,

You will be sorely missed,
your happiness and great advice were second to none!
Thank you for helping through tough times before Xmas with Red.
I want you to know it helped so much!!
The ex racers club will never be the same again!
Take care mate!

Such a sad loss of a wonderful person.
So many people are left shocked and devastated.
We must remember the happy stuff,
So many people have been touched by your kindness.
Rest well Sian.

Thanks for your endless wit and good humour.
I never got to meet you face to face
but you offered me several bits of excellent advice
for which I was truly grateful for.

We never met in person,
but on the forum we will all miss you.
Now you can look after all our old friends where you are now.
xx

sian,
I only met you once
and you were the kindest funniest person
I have ever met
so warm and friendly
the ex racers club has lost a special person.

I will miss your posts
they always brought a smile to my face.
I hope that you will always be larger than life itself.

Such a loss.
I will miss your witty,
sometimes acerbic
and endlessly funny comments,
on the ex-racers forum.
Go gently.

I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.

My memories of you
will certainly be happy one's.
Look after our old friends till we get there.

Goodbye my friend,
my smile wont be as bright now.

Sian
If any ex-racers misbehave in the show ring from now on.
I'm going to hold you responsible -
I reckon you'll be whispering in a fair few ears!!
Sleep well friend -
you are going to leave a big old hole in the world

I never got to meet you
but felt I knew you all my life.
Our loss is heaven's gain.
You will be sadly missed by all.
Have fun up there.

Sian was one in a million.
A kind, thoughtful and very caring person
who will be missed by so many.
Let's hope they drink pink champagne wherever you are.
RIP Sian
and may God Bless you.
Kathy.

Rest well Sian
I only met you once,
but it was one of my most memorable days
and now looking back it seems even more special
that you were apart of it.
I'll never forget your infectious laughter and humour.
one in million.

Sian was the most considerate person
I had the pleasure to know,
and the world is a quieter place without her,
but this is not to mean we have forgotten
as I can still hear you in my head!
Especially with your disagreements with Bob ha ha!
I know she will not rest on her laurels up there
but will make it rumble with laughter
xxxxxx till we meet again
(PS sent a yellow rose
to show the sunshine you added to peoples lives!)

You'll be missed greatly on the forum
but not half as much as your
friends and family will miss you in life.
The man above has taken one of life's greats.
There's plenty of ex racers up there
for you to start your own club with.
God Bless x

Rest in peace Sian
You will be missed by so many people
whose lives you touched in one way or another.

I hope you are having a good gallop over the clouds
on all the beloved ex racers
that are up there with you.

RIP Sian.
You have left a big hole now
when you are no longer with us .
We will all miss your entertaining posts
on the Ex-Racers forum.
I did have the honour to meet you in person
and you were truly one of a kind.
Tina (Paddy's Mummy)

Sian,
We never met
but your kind words of support
meant a lot on the ex racers forum.
The Equine world has lost a friend
but gained a angel above.
Look out over us all.

Shan,
I miss you so much, my best friend since nursery school.
Remembering you on this special day 30th October 2007.
(of course the age without VAT) as you used to tell me.
All the fun we had as kids, in the adneys, riding over the Downs,
being there for me when things went wrong,
and making me laugh so much I cried.
You may not be here but you will never ever be forgotten.
So sleep well until we meet again
