I heard your voice in the wind today
and I turned to see your face;
The warmth of the wind caressed me
as I stood silently in place.

I felt your touch in the sun today
as its warmth filled the sky;
I closed my eyes for your embrace
and my spirit soared high.

I saw your eyes in the window pane
as I watched the falling rain;
It seemed as each raindrop fell
it quietly said your name.

I held you close in my heart today
it made me feel complete;
You may have died...but you are not gone
you will always be a part of me.

As long as the sun shines...
the wind blows...
the rain falls...
You will live on inside of me forever
for that is all my heart knows.

My beautiful Mum who helped so many people in her life.
She was my best friend and my mentor
and the most wonderful Mum in the world
and I miss her so much,
but one day we will be re-united forever

My Mum had a pretty tough start in life losing her father when she was 10
and her mum when she was expecting me,
this was followed by having a collapsed lung through TB
and then by my dad having MS, but she coped and looked after him.
She was one of the founder members of the MS society in Lincolnshire
and worked tirelessly for the cause.
She was always ready to listen to others and help them
and would stop and take a homeless person for coffee and scones,
and she was just as comfortable drinking wine with lords
which she did on more than one occasion.
This wonderful woman was glamorous, a talented singer and dancer
and I am so very proud that she is my mum.
